Thad Weitz
Thad Weitz joined The Heiden Group as a Recruiter in July, 2010. As a Recruiter, his primary job is to find the perfect candidate, the closest possible fit, for each and every one of his employee searches at The Heiden Group.
Thad has honed this research skill through years of practice. He was a Publication Assistant at The Treasury Management Association, in Bethesda, Maryland, where he wrote and edited articles on finance for the association’s magazines, The Treasury Management Association Journal and The Electronic Commerce Report and their newsletters, “The Leadership Bulletin” and “The Regional Officers Update.” He then completed a Master’s Degree in English Literature at Georgetown University, on a Merit Based Scholarship, while simultaneously working at Addy Bassin’s, the premiere fine wine store in Washington, D.C. From Georgetown, Thad helped to found TrafficEast Magazine, a general interest magazine based in Buffalo, New York. Thad has written many articles on a wide array of subjects, from book reviews, to interviews, to essays. In his spare time, Thad was also a freelance editor, notably of a novel published by Holt, The Sound of the Trees, by Robert Gatewood. Thad has also contributed to BookRags.com, an online study guide and lesson planning site for high school teachers. He recently completed the training to qualify him as an adult literacy tutor for BoulderReads!, a highly esteemed volunteer organization.
Thad has lived in Boulder, Colorado for the last two years. To balance the many hours spent on his computer, Thad takes full advantage of the Colorado outdoors, with hiking, fishing, and skiing.
