Mike Jenner
Mike Jenner was appointed to his current position as Data/IP, General
Manager and Vice President in May 2003. Mike and his team are
responsible for the strategic growth and global expansion of the
corporation's entire Internet and Data business portfolio. During
Mike's tenure AT&T added well over a billion dollars in revenue from
these new markets and drove significant profitability.
Mike had been serving as Vice President and General Manager for AT&T
Managed IP/VPN Services since 1999. Prior to joining the Managed
Services organization, Mike was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, VP
Business Development and Strategy for AT&T Internet Services. In this
position, Mike took a very active role in AT&T's acquisition campaigns.
He was responsible for creating AT&T's strategy in the IP market, and
in the span of two years, improved the company's ranking in the
business Internet service marketplace from 10th to a clear leader in
this segment.
Before being promoted to COO, Mike was Director of Business Development
and Strategy for AT&T Internet Services. Mike and his team developed
the AT&T Business Internet strategy, segmented a broad portfolio of the
business into strategic categories and worked to acquire and build high
growth businesses for the firm.
Mike began his career at AT&T in 1991 at AT&T Easylink Services where
he was named Director Global Product Management. Mike orchestrated a
financial turnaround from a non-profitable emerging business to a
profitable market leader. Mike also launched new products, built
market campaigns and trained AT&T sales teams.
Before joining AT&T, Mike worked at Western Union as Manager of Network
Consolidation and Product Manager in its Software Access Solutions
organization. Mike started his career as a founding partner of
Digisoft Computers Inc., a software company focused on the early
electronic mail market.
Mike was graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science
in Economics and Statistics.
