Jason Weisberger
Mr. Weisberger is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Federated Media, where he is responsible for day-to-day management and performance of the enterprise. He has led development, engineering, operations, corporate development, product management and finance organizations at companies ranging in size from seed-level start-ups to multi-national telecoms. Mr. Weisberger has been responsible for managing aggregate product lines in excess of $800M in annual revenue and has successfully closed over $1B in M&A activity with such companies as Pacific Bell, Cable and Wireless, and Exodus Communications.

Prior to merging his firm, Brigantine Consulting with The Heiden Group in 2004, Mr. Weisberger served as the Vice-President of Product Management and Partner Development for Cable and Wireless. In this role he led turn-around efforts to restructure C&W's legacy products and services into an industry leading service offering. He was responsible for direct P&L management, market analysis, service development, or outside acquisition of each individual product line, as well as outsourcing, sale or end-of-life for non-performing services. One such effort resulting in the turn-around of a product line that was losing $120M to one which produced $96M in annualized gross margin.
Mr. Weisberger also served as the Vice-President of Network Engineering for Digital Island, where he restructured their high-performance, global IP and ATM network for drastic reductions in cost, while improving reliability. Previously he served as CTO and VP of Operations at SoftAware, Inc. a start-up in Marina del Rey, CA. Mr. Weisberger played a key role in taking this start-up from $50,000 to $20M in annualized revenue, and leading it to a public equity sale.
Mr. Weisberger has participated as a panel member and speaker at a number of conferences and events, as well as delivering Santa Monica College's year 2000 Commencement address. He currently is serving a term as co-chair of the City of Sausalito's Historic Landmarks Board.
